2017 State Age Championships

Another State Age Championships has now been and gone.
As one of the largest female sporting events in the southern hemisphere, it is always wonderful to give our Woopi girls the opportunity to savour the unbelievable experience.
From the very beginning of the journey through to the final whistle after 3 gruelling days of play our U12, U13 and U15 teams wore the Woopi colours with immense pride, dedication and determination.

2017 State Championships

With the State Championships done and dusted for another year it's time to reflect again on the wonderful achievement of our Opens and to highlight the courageous effort of our U17's.
As we all know by now the Opens performance to finish in 4th place in Opens Championship Division is truly remarkable. Little 'ole Woopi the 4th best team in the State!! It still seems surreal!
To mix it with the giants of NSW netball and perform so well is testimony to the skill of the teams' brilliant athletes.

Regional League 2017

Our phenomenal Opens Rep Team are the North Coast Regional League Div1 WINNERS!!!
How sensational is that!! Woohooo!!
With a fantastic display of netball which included an out of this world 3rd quarter blitz, our girls powered to a 55-40 win over Hastings Valley to become the undefeated winners!!
In our short history we've had some great results but for our little association to win this League and head to State Cup is top of the tree!!

2016 State Age Championships

So another State Age Championships has come and gone. Full credit to all of the fantastic girls in our U14 and U15 Rep Teams who represented Woopi magnificently both on and off the court!
The U15s had a mountain to climb as we had never fielded a team before in their age group. Climb that mountain they did to finish a brilliant 6th place in Div4. Onlookers would have thought the girls had played together for years such was their awesome play.
